Bed & Breakfast and Guesthouse accommodation in the Mudgee Region offers a variety of choices for visitors. There are smaller establishments which will provide the more traditional experience of being “part of the family”; guests are accommodated in the same building as their hosts and may share some facilities with other guests. Other properties have separate guest living, dining and lounge areas, with private facilities for each guest bedroom. An integral part of the B&B or Guesthouse experience is being served a cooked breakfast by your hosts, which is included in the tariff; catering for other meals may be offered by arrangement. B&B or Guesthouse accommodation is ideal for those travellers who enjoy being looked after by their hosts and meeting other visitors during their stay.

Boutique Hotel accommodation offers a unique and authentic experience to travellers. Boutique Hotels are often located in historically significant buildings, allowing you to soak up the character and intimate atmosphere of another era. Luxuriously appointed rooms with private facilities make for a relaxed and comfortable stay. A fully cooked breakfast is generally included in the tariff.

Mudgee Region Hotels provide a traditional country pub experience by providing accommodation to travellers. Commonly, there are limited facilities, mostly shared by guests; very few rooms will have their own ensuite bathroom. Pub-style accommodation is often quite economically priced and room configurations range from single through to triple or quad share. Breakfast provisions may be offered as part of the tariff; other meals are generally available in the hotel dining area.

Motel accommodation in the Mudgee Region ranges from the more budget-conscious to resort style, catering for a variety of visitor needs. Motel accommodation includes private facilities with each bedroom; motels can also cater for twin share or family accommodation requirements. Motel sizes in the Region range from 8 room to 66 room properties; and both leisure and business travellers are well looked after with facilities that may include swimming pool, tennis court, restaurant, sauna, spa, guest laundry, conference and function rooms, Internet connection, and more. Breakfasts may be buffet, a la carte or in-room, and other meals may be available by arrangement.

The Mudgee Region has several Caravan & Tourist Parks on offer. At each of them you will find a variety of accommodation styles, from basic tent sites to powered sites and on-site cabin accommodation. For campers, a camp kitchen and shared bathroom facilities are generally provided, as are laundry facilities and a shop or kiosk. Other features may include BBQ areas, swimming pool, children’s playground, games room, etc. Cabin accommodation can vary from more basic styles to luxury spa cabins and motel-style units; again offering a choice for every budget. Linen and towels can usually be hired or you may prefer to supply your own.

Cottages and houses available in the Mudgee Region let you experience independence while offering most of the amenities of home. Properties may vary from quite basic to luxurious, catering to a variety of tastes and budgets. There are smaller establishments offering one or two bedrooms only, to larger houses which can accommodate a larger family or group of people. Others offer several cottages on the one property, which allows them to cater for individual travellers, families or groups. When renting a self-contained property, you will generally have use of the entire building and its facilities without having to share with others. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge areas are generally provided. Laundry facilities may be a shared option. Yours hosts may also include breakfast provisions as part of the tariff.

Serviced Apartments or Houses are a newer addition to the Mudgee Region variety of accommodation choices. They are similar in their set-up to other self-contained accommodation, but offer regular servicing of the facilities, allowing you to experience all the comforts and amenities of home without having to look after the chores. Serviced Apartments are often part of a group of apartments on the one property.
