I love cooking and eating. I enjoy making people happy through food…and a good party! It’s important to me that food is made by hand, the old fashioned way, with fresh local ingredients. Growing up in Sydney I was surrounded by chef mates and I wanted to be a part of it.
My catering style is flexible. I’ve driven into Nullo mountain to feed wedding guests on the mountain side. I’ve cooked stinging nettles for Rylstone Streetfeast and free range pigs on a spit at the back of a woodshed, in the dark…when the generator broke down. I’ve put on a spread at a local bull sale, to keep the bids high. I cater for glamourous weddings and wine celebrations, or rustic weddings in a hayshed.
Why visit Mudgee Region?
It’s one of the best places on earth, I reckon, well worth a visit. I have travelled overseas, lived in Sydney most of my life and Mudgee is the only place I’d call home. I love the trip to Rylstone along the Lue Road, stopping to have lunch at yum cha or head to the pub and wander the eclectic shops there…and if the weather is warm I love going for a swim at Dunn’s Swamp. Oh, and the wine (and of course, the food!).
