Meet Jayne from Rylstone Olive Press
Jayne Bentivoglio, the founder of Rylstone Olive Oils which recently struck gold at the prestigious New York Olive Oil Show among 600 entrants from 22 countries. Visitors to Mudgee love the Rylstone Olive Oils Master Classes where the world’s top chefs share their tips on cooking with the world’s best olive oils.
As a grower with an 8,000 olive tree grove, I cherish and need Mudgee’s high altitude, hot summers and consistent winter rainfalls. Along with the lush green pastures, fertile soils and the rolling hills of the Mudgee region it’s fair to say that we have the best work environment in the world.
Why visit Mudgee Region?
As much as we focus on our philosophy of healthier hearts and minds through smarter food choices, Mudgee is also about nurturing the spirit and touching the soul. You realise that Mudgee paints a unique picture for you each and every day of the year with its captivating sunrises and mesmerising sunsets. And when you have an unfettered and uninterrupted view of a starlit sky at night you begin to understand why Australia’s greatest literary talents, Henry Lawson and Banjo Patterson, chose the Mudgee Region for their inspiration.
