Family STEAM challenges (Mudgee Library, ages 4-100)

Welcome to the Family STEAM challenges!

With activity stations themed around Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, families can explore, build, create, and problem-solve together. Whether you're designing structures, experimenting with colors, or cracking puzzles, there's something for all ages to enjoy.

Families will rotate between challenges—perfect for curious minds and creative thinkers!

Max. 6 participants per family. Please book 1 ticket per person attending (children and adults).

Smaller groups may be teamed up with others to complete a full table.

Please note: a minimum number of participants is required to run the session, and it may be cancelled at short notice if this isn’t reached.

This is a free event, but bookings are essential.

Terms and conditions

• Attendance at events delivered by Mid-Western Regional Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recording. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image to be published, please notify the library before the event.
• We will not be able to accommodate persons who have not made a booking/hold a ticket.
• This event is for those aged 4 and over only.
• If ticket holders are unwell, we ask that you cancel their ticket/s and they don't attend.
• Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow time to check in. This assists the event to run on schedule.
• Tickets are not transferable.
• Children under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by a suitable adult/guardian at all times.
