Weaving Wonglepongs Workshop

Let your imaginations run wild to create your very own creature in this workshop. Using a few readily accessible materials, you will create from your own imagination or even from a portrait of a family pet/zoo animal.

Using shredded paper and flexible wire we will build up a creature which can be covered with raffia, wool, string or other creative materials. Once the body is made, there is lots of scope to decorate with a variety of beads, buttons, sequins and lots of decorative bits and pieces.

All materials needed will be supplied and lunch/refreshments are included.

Terms and Conditions

• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible so another young person can participate. Ticket holders who fail to attend three sessions without cancelling may become ineligible for future events.
• Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may affect attendance at future Mid-Western Regional Youth events.
• Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow time for check-in and help sessions run on schedule.
• Tickets are non-transferable.

Photography and Video Notice

Smile! Your attendance at events supported by Mid-Western Regional Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on Council websites, publications, social media, and in newspapers.
