'What's That Skip?' is a group exhibition inspired by Skippy's place in our cultural psyche and more broadly the Kangaroo in contemporary art.

Satirical, absurdist, serious and thought provoking, What’s That Skip? collectively examines a number of representations ranging from the popular TV series ‘Skippy the Bush Kangaroo’ to vulnerable creature; from nostalgia and tourist souvenir to the animal as social and political activist.

Featuring over 20 artists including Reg Mombassa, Blak Doulgas, Joan Ross, Mai Nguyen-Long, June Golland, Adrienne Doig, Peter Cooley, Simon Reece, Craig Handley, Michael Kempson, Fiona Hall and Kandos' own Fleur MacDonald, Jason Wing and Maddison Gibbs (among many others).
