Camphill Homestead C1860s is a historic Victorian stone home with original features including modern comforts. It is situated on 50 cares of farmland with breathtaking views of the Cudgegong ranges.
An ideal holiday venue for families of 16 guests. There are local activities for everyone – close to wineries, olive groves, kayaking, motor cross trails, coffee shops, old pubs and gold towns. Or kick back on the wide shady verandahs with a book.
There are two houses on the Camphill property separated by 300 metres of grassy horse paddocks, can be booked separately or together. Each with it's own charm. One, a grand stone Victorian style and the other a charming, rustic weatherboard cottage. Each have wood fire places for heating and reverse cycle air-conditioning. Each house can sleep 8 guests – totaling 16. Camphill has numerous farm buildings that date back to the 19 century – including the old stone forge which was used for making wheels for horse-drawn carriages, horse shoes, farm implements and anything useful for life in that era. It is a 5 minute drive to historic Rylstone with it's old established wineries, quaint old pubs, wood fired bakery, authentic Yum Cha, antique and coffee shops and historic buildings. The jewel of the area is Ganguddy in the Wollemi National Park, only a 15 minute drive away where bird watching, bush-walk trails or kayaking down the Cudgegong River, the sunset boat tours are an absolute must.
