Throw off the shackles of technology and get back to basics by learning to cook with the most primal of elements, fire. During this culinary adventure, you'll be guided by Food Over Fire guru Pip Sumbak through the process of cooking over woodfire.
Together you'll master the art of cooking a multitude of deliciously smoky and seasonal dishes from locally sourced produce over an open fire, whether you’re camping in the great outdoors or cooking a pizza in the woodfire oven. In the absence of fans, temperature controls and oven timers, you'll learn to lean on your sense of smell, sight, taste and even touch, making the experience a somewhat challenging, yet liberating one.
Set outdoors with an incredible vineyard vista, you'll then share your wood fired delights over a leisurely long lunch, matched with a flight of Rosby wines. You'll walk away feeling inspired to embrace your newfound skills and with a huge sense of achievement, not to mention a full tummy and a few new friends.
Accommodation in Rosby’s charming hilltop guesthouse is an optional addition well worth looking into and will certainly complete this refined country escape.
