Enjoy an all-inclusive and immersive experience learning the art of watercolour with David Newman-White. This half-day workshop will draw on the breathtaking surrounds of Rosby’s vineyard and classic Australian landscape beyond. It will focus on equipping participants with the skills required to create a watercolour work of their own. David will start by introducing a selection of essential watercolour materials such as brushes, paper and paints, before walking participants through a range of basic watercolour techniques such as wet on wet, dry brush and sketching for watercolour. You’ll then break briefly for morning tea before completing your piece of art. The workshop will take place in a really relaxing and supportive setting, with no prior experience required. Come alone or come with friends – everyone is welcome.
Bring your own lunch and finish the day with a picnic in the cellar door gardens, with a glass of Rosby Wine. With watercolour making a big comeback at the moment, there’s no better time to jump on this bandwagon.
