2018 Charity Shield – Dragons v Rabbitohs
The St George-Illawarra Dragons and South Sydney Rabbitohs will bring the annual Charity Shield match to Mudgee for the first time with the 35th edition of the match to be played at Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium on Saturday 24 February.
Gates Open: 5.15pm
Curtain Raiser Kick Off: 5.30pm
Charity Shield Kick Off: 7.30pm
Tickets on sale from Wednesday 15 November. Due to expected high demand for tickets, it is recommended that you pre-purchase your tickets through Ticketek.
Tickets will also be available to purchase on game day at the Box Office (western side of the ground).

getting to the game
There is strictly no public parking permitted at the venue on game day. Patrons are advised to catch the FREE SHUTTLE BUS or WALK to the venue.
Free Hail and Ride Service
There will be a FREE SHUTTLE BUS service operating throughout Mudgee CBD. Services will operate to Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium, from the below pick up locations;
1. Mudgee Tourist Office - Market Street
2. Mudgee High School – Perry St
3. St Matthew's Catholic School - Lewis Street
4. Mudgee Race Course
Services will depart Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium to CBD at the completion of the game at Glen Willow.
A low-floor bus will be available for patrons requiring assistance.
Glen Willow is accessible from the Mudgee CBD. Patrons parking in the Mudgee CBD will be able to walk a short distance (approx. 1km) to Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium.
Limited parking will be available at the Mudgee Racecourse and Parklands Resort with a $2 donation to the Lions Club payable on entry. Please follow directions from traffic management personnel.
Vehicles displaying a disabled parking pass will be permitted to park in the car park areas on Pitts Lane directly across from the Stadium. Please follow instructions from traffic management personnel. A low-floor bus will be available from the Mudgee CBD for patrons requiring assistance. Please refer to Free Hail and Ride Service information.
No drop-off is permitted on Pitts Lane. Drop-off should be to one of the four (4) Hail and Ride Service locations.
There will be 2 Ticketed entry gates to the stadium;
1. Eastern side (best entry for General Admission)
2. Western side (best for ticket purchases and Grand Stand seating)
On egress, pedestrians will be able to exit from both the western and eastern side of the ground.
Pitts Lane will be closed from 9.00am to 10.00pm on Sunday 20 May 2018 except for access to residents, VIP vehicles and public transport. Please obey all signs and travel with care. Council thanks you for your co-operation and apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
Conditions of Entry
No alcohol or glass will be permitted to be bought in to Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium. Security will be in place to enforce this rule. Picnic rugs and chairs are permitted to be bought in to the Stadium. Please see attached conditions of entry to the ground and cooperate with any requests from security.
Food and Beverage Facilities
There will be a number of food and beverage outlets open during the event operating from the eastern and western side of the ground.
Family Hill: The alcohol-free family hill area will be located under the scoreboard at the southern end of the ground.
There will be no ATM facilities available at the game.
