2020 Charity Shield (Dragons V Rabbitohs)

The 37th annual Charity Shield between the St George Illawarra Dragons and the South Sydney Rabbitohs will take place on Saturday, February 29 at Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium in Mudgee.

Curtain Raiser 1: Andrew Johns Cup (U16s) 4.05pm

Curtain Raiser 2: Laurie Daley Cup (U18s) 5.25pm

Main Game: Charity Shield Kick Off 7.00pm

Purchasing tickets

Due to expected high demand for tickets, it is recommended that you pre-purchase your tickets through 123Tix. Tickets will be available to purchase on game day at the Box Office (located at Main Gate entry).

Tickets will also be available for purchase at Mid-Western Regional Council Customer Service, 86 Market Street Mudgee 

(Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm)

getting to the game

Free shuttle bus
Services will pick up and return from the below locations. A low-floor bus will be available for patrons requiring assistance. Buses commence from 4.00pm, and return at the conclusion of the main game.

On foot
Glen Willow Stadium is a short one kilometre walk from Mudgee CBD across the Holyoake Footbridge.
Parking
Limited parking will be available at the Mudgee Racecourse with a $2 donation to volunteer groups, payable on entry. Parking is available at all shuttle bus pickup locations. Strictly no public parking will be permitted at the venue or on Pitts Lane on game day.

NOTE: Vehicles displaying mobility parking permits will also be able to park in the car park areas on Pitts Lane directly across from the stadium.
Gate Entry
There will be two (2) ticketed entry gates to the stadium:
GATE 2 (best entry for General Admission) 
MAIN GATE (best for ticket purchases and Grand Stand seating)
On egress, pedestrians will be able to exit from both the Main Gate and Gate 2. 
Road Closures
Pitts Lane will be closed from 9.00am to 11.00pm on Saturday 29 February 2020 except for access to residents, VIP vehicles and public transport. 
Please obey all signs and travel with care. Council thanks you for your co-operation and apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.  

Conditions of Entry

Conditions of Entry for the 2020 Charity Shield are as per the NRL Event Terms and Conditions. Please see below event conditions to the ground and cooperate with any requests from security.

Conditions of Entry

No alcohol, glass, cans or pets will be permitted to be brought in to Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium. Security will be in place to enforce this rule and conduct bag checks. Picnic rugs and chairs are permitted to be brought in to the Stadium.

Food + beverage facilities
There will be a number of food and beverage outlets open during the event operating from the eastern and western side of the ground. 
Family Hill
The alcohol-free family hill area will be located under the scoreboard at the southern end of the ground.
ATM Facilities
There will be no ATM facilities available at the game.

The Country Championships Sunday 1 March
