ARTIST TUTOR: David Newman-White

Create a fabulous floral masterpiece during this indulgent two-day art and wine weekend. Learn how to work with canvas to compose a body of work, modelling oil or acrylic paint and featuring an informal floral still life arrangement. You’ll also take away a thorough understanding of the colour theory, relating to complimentary and opposite colours, plus light and shade.

This workshop has been carefully curated to ensure the experience is a truly unique and immersive one, one that challenges convention and leaves you feeling inspired to push yourself creatively.

Coinciding with the most magical time of year to visit Mudgee, this workshop offers the ultimate art and wine experience. By building a range of other cultural delights into the workshop, Rosby aspires to offer you a truly holistic experience. This includes paddock-to-plate style dining set against a romantic and utterly breathtaking backdrop. You’ll feel very much at one with nature in Rosby’s gorgeously rustic mud hut. Perched upon a hill overlooking the picturesque vineyard, you’ll also be treated to an exclusive wine tasting with the vigneron followed by a walking tour of the vines. Accommodation in Rosby’s charming hilltop guesthouse is an optional addition well worth looking into and will certainly complete this refined country escape.

This workshop caters to all levels of artistic experience, from beginners wanting to try their hand at something new and have a bit of fun, to proficient artists looking to further develop their skillset. Come alone or bring a few friends, everyone is welcome here at Rosby.
