The Mudgee Running Festival is well known for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere – perfect for the first-timer who is looking for a no-pressure race, yet still, a course that is challenging to the experienced marathoner.
There are four events throughout the day: marathon, half marathon, 10km and 5km Fun Run/Walk.
The longer courses weave through the picturesque Mudgee valley; past vineyards, wineries, farmland, grazing cattle, and a band of friendly and enthusiastic volunteers cheering you on! And the shorter events run alongside the Cudgegong River and around Lawson Park.
Our festival is a fun, family event with a great supportive atmosphere.
COIVD restrictions permitting, there will be a jumping castle for the kids, a massage service for competitors, food & drinks, and very importantly, good coffee!
All marathon and half marathon competitors will receive a commemorative Mudgee Running Festival t-shirt. Other competitors and supporters can also purchase additional shirts online.
Every participant will also receive a 20th anniversary finisher’s medal. And if register before 1 August you’ll be able to personalise your race bib.
We hope you’ll be joining us in Mudgee this August as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of this annual event.
