Mudgee Wine School Method in Focus Series – Rosé.
Rosé is not defined by grape varietal, but rather by the method. French for pink – what is a Rosé wine? How is a Rosé made? Essentially a white wine made from red wine grapes – but it is pink.
Grape variety does matter and this class will showcase how the choice of grape varietal influences the great range of rosé wines on offer.
Join Mudgee Wine School in this class on one of two dates in October (Saturday 2nd + Saturday 16th) to enjoy 6 different varietals of rosé, all made with different grapes and slightly varying methods, showcasing pet nat, sparkling, sweet and dry styles and of course Provence. There really is a rosé for everyone.
The class is held at the gorgeous Lazy Oak Wines (13km from Mudgee, towards Gulgong via the Henry Lawson Drive) with return bus transport included in the ticket price. Bus transfers will depart Mudgee CBD from 5.45pm and 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start, and return at the conclusion of the class at 8.15pm.
$120 per person + booking fee. Tickets available online.
