Australia’s newest music festival ‘NEXT EXIT’ celebrates local talent and highlights regional towns in its debut year, coming to Mudgee Region this May!
Setting its sights on the road less travelled, NEXT EXIT Festival includes four new events taking place in regional locations across NSW (finishing in Mudgee) and offers live music from psych-rock outfit Ocean Alley, Spacey Jane (who recently became the highest-ranking Australian artist of the Hottest 100), Northern Beaches four-piece Dear Seattle, NSW local Merci, Mercy and sister duo CLEWS.
NEXT EXIT will place an emphasis on engaging local businesses to partake in the event, with a goal to drive economic activity, encourage regional tourism and highlight local tastemakers and artisans.
We pass so many ‘Next Exit’ signs on the highway and often drive past with only our destination in sight. Now it’s time to take that exit.
NEXT EXIT has been designed as a safe festival that can be delivered undercurrent restrictions with a fullm COVID19 plan in place, and will employ many people from the entertainment + events industry who have sat on the sidelines for too long.
