“Portrait as a celebration of Life”, a past life, a present life or a new life. David Newman-White returns to Rosby in 2021 for a 2-day workshop aimed at exploring the human form using a range of pastel-based mediums. You’ll be guided through a number of drawing techniques using charcoal and graphite, before going on to create your very own portrait drawing of that someone special in your life. Participants are required to bring along images of someone they wish to draw – whether it be ancestor, a family member or a grandchild or even someone that you admire for their contribution to life.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience and is open to all.
