A traditional Hawaiian poke bowl consist of raw fish, rice and raw salads. This workshop will demonstrate how to jazz up the traditional Hawaiian dish to make a luxurious, fresh + healthy poke bowl at the Little Cooking School, Mudgee
You will prepare a variety of condiments and fillings, both seafood and meat to create the perfect Summer dinner party dish or healthy weeknight meal. What better person to guide you through this session than the very talented Pip Sumbak.
Pip began her career in food after appearing as a contestant on Masterchef in 2013, followed by a diverse and interesting path through Sydney restaurants and private catering before combining her love of the ocean and travel with stints on luxury surf charters in Indonesia, private chalets in Switzerland and creating wedding feasts in Bordeaux, France. Pip then created her amazing Food Over Fire Experience at The Cellar by Gilbert here in Mudgee and spoiled us with her delicious menus cooked over Fire. As a surfer Pip missed her waves and headed to a private island in Fiji cooking beautiful fish and local produce while training local staff in her craft.
Now its our turn to learn all the tricks from Pip in this hands-on workshop, then take a seat and enjoy the fruits of your labour with a cold glass of Mudgee Chardonnay.
