Awaken your senses to the calming nuances of tea leaves derived entirely from the Camellia Sinensis plant.
In this fun, hands-on two hour session with tea specialist Maggie Barnewall we will brew tea leaves in the Chinese Gong Fu Cha style using tea vessels and methods appropriate to the leaf type.
We will take time to discuss tea cultivation and production, examine leaves and enjoy the sensorial experience of colour, aroma and flavour in brewing three categories of tea (White tea, Green tea, Oolong tea) to set you on a lifetime appreciation of the mindful art of tea steeping.
Includes snacks paired with the tea, tasting notes and tea samples. Minimum 4 participants, maximum 8.
