Wines sculptured from the grapes grown on the 100 acre estate of Pieter van Gent winery & vineyard. Each displaying the vibrant characters of grape, soil and winemaker.

Visit the authentic barrel hall where you may taste our wines including the famous and original Mudgee White Port.

It’s over 40 years since Pieter made the first Chardonnay wine in Australia.

Be sure to try some of the amazing chocolate stocked which is hand crafted by our chocolatier, Amelie. She makes all her chocolates here in Mudgee using the most amazing Belgium chocolate.

Why not try a self Guided Winery Tour on our Classic Cruiser Bicycles.

Let us coordinate a bicycle wine tour for you, visiting wineries and taste for yourself the excellent variety and style of Mudgee wines. Stop off at one of the nearby wineries for lunch or some wood-fired pizza. As Pieter van Gent Winery is in the heart of wine country, cycling between wineries is relaxed, the sights are pure country, and the food and wine is great. 

Cost:

Half a day hire (4 hours): $45  

Full day hire: $55  

Cost is per person and includes - bicycle and helmet, tour maps and suggested itinerary. One bike supplied with saddle bags so you can transport your wine purchases.
