The boutique wine label, Gilbert, is handcrafted by Simon and Will Gilbert who come from six generations of winemakers. As artisans of elegant cool climate wines, our ethos is simple, wise winemaking with fresh appeal.
The Cellar by Gilbert is our tasting room. We offer both current and museum releases, local charcuterie, High Valley cheeses and tailor made wine masterclasses led by our knowledgeable team. We also feature wines from family, friends and mentors from around the world who have contributed to the Gilbert story.

'Food Over Fire' by Pip Sumbak
Reserve yourself a spot at 'Food Over Fire' by Pip Sumbak every Saturday from 1pm.
Pip will be sourcing the best local produce to cook over our newly-built fire pit. This set menu will be $70 per head and includes protein, seasonal vegetables and High Valley Cheese.
Come along with a bunch of friends and family no matter the number - this lunch is sure to have you breaking bread and enjoying fine wine with locals, visitors, family & friends.
Wine Bar: Friday + Saturday Nights
On Fridays + Saturdays the Cellar by Gilbert's opening hours extend to 10pm.
Pip’s new wine bar menu will kick off at 6pm both evenings, with food available until 9pm.
There'll also be live music each week.

The Cellar by Gilbert offers masterclasses 7 days per week. They cost $45 per person and include a cheese & meat platter, an in-depth tasting and a flight of 5 wines. Bookings essential.
