The Gilbert family is passionate about fine wine, family heritage and local produce. The Cellar by Gilbert is their tasting room + wine bar, located just on the edge of town in Mudgee. Guests may enjoy both current and museum released Gilbert wines, Mudgee’s High Valley Cheese Co cheeses and small plates to share.
Tastings and takeaway sales available daily. Small plates to share available Wednesday – Sunday from 10am.
Wine Bar: Friday + Saturday Nights
On Fridays + Saturdays, the Cellar by Gilbert's opening hours extends to 10 pm.
From 6 pm they serve their small plates à la carte menu or tasting experience which features six courses + seven wines. Their curated wine and beverage list, features Yulli’s craft beer, Goose cider, current and museum wines by Gilbert and a selection of international wines, showcasing some of the world’s best varieties + producers.

Join us Saturday mornings from 11am for a wine masterclass led by one of our winemakers or sommelier. We will explore the basics of wine tasting & appreciation and showcase a selection of wines from the Gilbert range.
You will learn about different styles and regions while tasting small bites to pair, made from our garden & local produce.
