Delicious local produce - a Mudgee Region speciality. What better way to accompany a glass of wine than with a slice of local cheese, honey, cherries, olives or even a sweet bite of chocolate!
Take this drive around the region to find your perfect local produce pairing.

Take your tastebuds on a journey through the Mudgee Region, as you sample the best local produce the region has to offer. Here, we present a variety of local producers, each offering a fantastic tasting experience that will leave you with a bag bursting with goodies.

Let's begin the morning at Indigiearth, where the focus is on native ingredients. Using bush tucker to inspire the dining experience, this is a fantastic place to sit down for your morning coffee and taste authentic Australian flavours. From native herbs and spices to superfood powders, you’ll leave feeling inspired and connected.

Let's get that sweet tooth up and running as we head to our next destination - Mudgee Honey Haven. Offering a range of local produce including honey, olive oils, jams and chutneys, this is the place to stock up on all those staple pantry items! Settle in for an hour or two at their on-site cafe, play a round of putt-putt golf and have a sip of their honey mead before heading off to your next destination.

Olive lovers rejoice - this next stop is for you. Venturing just five minutes out of town, Aril Estate turns the flavour profile back to savoury (with a hint of sweet). Think naturally fermented table olives, extra virgin olive oils, pomegranate syrups, molasses and jams. You'll want to stock up on those olives and olive oils for your next cheese platter!

Back in the car to the other side of town for a little bit of everything with Mudgee Gourmet and Hampers. Based at Vinifera Wines cellar door, mix & match distinctive and delicious local produce from olive oil to relish chocolates, nuts, chutneys, jams and more! Perfectly paired with a delicious glass of Vinifera wine..

Time to have a break from olives, honeys and chutneys and instead bite into a hit of freshness just around the corner at 10's Estate Organic Orchard. This magical orchard offers the freshness of tree-ripened "pick-your-own" cherries, figs and citrus fruits, which all contribute to the distinctive fragrant character of their wine. With sweeping picturesque views of the region's rolling hills, this is a wonderful spot to sit back and relax for an afternoon.

Back into town for an afternoon pick me up at Coco Mudgee! Specialising in all things chocolate, Coco Mudgee is the perfect place to purchase that special gift for someone, or settle in for a warming cup of hot chocolate.

Bet you've been waiting for this one..... CHEESE! What better place to taste test this wonderful food than at High Valley Cheese Co. Delicious triple cream brie, a robust rouge washed rind, award-winning marinated fetta, caerphilly, smoked cheddar and two varieties of blue are available to taste and buy. This beautiful hand-crafted artisan cheese is made on site and a must-visit on your Mudgee Region trip.

Finish off this tasty journey right next door at The Cellar by Gilbert. Wash down wonderful small bites & platters focussing on all the local produce you just tried (especially that wonderful cheese next door) with their delicious range of wines on offer, in the beautiful & relaxed atmosphere of their cellar door.

Hopefully by now your bellies are full, your tastebuds electrified and your bags bursting with a wonderful variety of delicious local goodies!
