Located on Market Street, just a stone’s throw from Mudgee’s locally loved haunts, KRYSTIES Boutique brings a fresh splash of colour and personality to the town’s thriving centre. Since opening its doors in 2019, owner Krystie has brought a curated collection of women’s clothing and accessories to the heart of Mudgee with a focus on quality, affordability and inclusivity.
KRYSTIES was born from a lifelong dream. “I’ve always wanted to own my own boutique, and the timing felt right,” Krystie says. Spotting a gap in the market for quality, mid-range women’s fashion, Krystie seized the opportunity to bring her vision to life in her hometown of Mudgee. Her boutique is now filled with hand-picked pieces from “beautiful, quality Australian brands”, like Country Road, MIMCO, Zaket & Plover, Hansen & Gretel, Witchery, Kachel, Staple the Label, Alias Mae, Hael & Jax.
Krystie is passionate about creating a shopping experience where women of every age, size and style can find something they love. They proudly offer sizes ranging from 4 to 20, ensuring inclusivity is at the core of the shop. “The most important trend is confidence,” she shares. “When you feel good in what you’re wearing, it shows”.
If you’re looking for a boost of confidence in styling, book a personalised one-on-one styling session with Krystie or one of her team members. “We love creating a personalised experience,” Krystie says. “It’s all about finding pieces that make our customers feel their best.” Whether it’s flowing dresses in natural fabrics, cosy knitwear or summer staples, each piece is as comfortable as they are beautiful, making everyday luxury accessible to everyone.
The setting for KRYSTIES Boutique couldn’t be more perfect – or Mudgee-esque. Located in a historic 19th-century-style building that once housed Westpac, the boutique’s soft pastel yellow exterior sets a warm inviting tone. Inside, every detail, from the layout to the décor, aligns perfectly with Krystie’s vision. “I wanted a beautiful space for women to come in and leave feeling good, regardless of whether they purchased something or not,” she explains.
Community is a core value at KRYSTIES Boutique. With a commitment to offering more than just clothes, Krystie hosts events that bring the community together. “Our ‘Bubbles & Browse’ nights started as part of Wine Month, but we now open every Thursday until 7 pm for late-night shopping,” she shares. “We love to hold seasonal launch nights in-store”. From fashion week to women’s information evenings, KRYSTIES has become a space for connection and celebration.
Krystie regularly collaborates with other local businesses, too. Especially supporting fellow women in business. “We love collaborating with local businesses,” she says. “Often, I’ll send women to Simone at Florence May Intimates for bras to complement outfits they buy here.”
