The name Mudgee is derived from the Wiradjuri term Moothi, meaning ‘Nest in the Hills’

In February, our wineries buzz with the excitement of harvest season.
A pre-season Charity Shield NRL game takes place at Glen Willow Regional Sports Complex in Mudgee – the home of the NRL in the Central West.
