Commissioned by Dr Charles Edward Lester and his wife Minnie Lester, Forgandenny House was designed by noted architect Harold Hardwick and built by Master Craftsmen Collyer and Carmichael on a prominent parcel of land on the corner of Short and Lewis streets.
Forgandenny House B and B proudly stands today as one of the finest examples of Federation architecture and is owned and operated for over 24 years by Dr Lester's great-granddaughter, Robbie Holdaway and her husband, Errol, with pride and passion.
