The name gives it away, Grattai Grove is a secluded farm in the Grattai valley and is not just a boutique vineyard but also a productive olive grove with two thousand olive trees. Add some sheep, cows, donkeys, goats, chooks, cats and dogs and finally two lovingly styled accommodations to get a wholesome country experience where guests leave rejuvenated.

While the core of the timber homestead was built in 1978 and the “Old Block” Cabernet Sauvignon vines were planted in 1983, a new chapter begun when the current owners Anna and Norbert jumped in at the deep end in 2021 to realise their dream of finally running their own wine family business. It was named Grattai Grove in respect to the established locality. We were propelled into the steepest learning curve in their lives: becoming vignerons, tending to the olives, caring for the animals, fixing machinery and farm infrastructure, working their way to open the doors to the accommodations and eventually releasing their first two wines and extra virgin olive oils in 2023.

An important milestone of realising their vision was to plant several small blocks of vines from scratch to offer a wider range of hand-picked small-batch wines going forward. Grattai Grove invites you to join in on the journey as they grow their range of produce from their little slice of paradise.
