Grattai Grove is a 100-acre property about 15 minutes from Mudgee town centre towards Hill End.
It lies on Wiradjuri land and was searched for gold in the late 19th century. In 1978 the core of the homestead was built and the first dam created in front of the house. A first vineyard block was planted in 1983 and a substantial olive grove was established in 1996/97. Several families put their mark on the land and the structures over the years, including different names before the 'Grattai Grove' sign went up in 2021.
Today, the owners Anna and Norbert, live here with a merry bunch of animals, including two dogs, a few chooks, donkeys, goats, cats and some sheep. They upgraded the farm stay accommodations, recently completed a vineyard extension and you can taste their own wines and extra virgin olive oil right where the fruit grows.
Come enjoy the serenity and make Grattai Grove your base camp to explore the Mudgee Region.
