The Miner's Cottage Tea Rooms are situated in a small renovated cottage on the top of Red Hill in Gulgong. This is the site of the 1870 gold rush
When you walk through the door you are welcomed by the warm, elegant ambiance of a bygone era.
The specialty of the house are the delicious homemade scones served with homemade strawberry jam and fresh whipped cream.
Other house favourites are the light lunches made up of french crepes with different fillings, most popular is the chicken and asparagus. There are homemde pies with mashed potato, mushy peas and gravy just to name a few.
