NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories, and to celebrate the oldest continuing living cultures on Earth. You can support and connect with your local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities through activities and events held across the country.
Join Aunty Di Pirotta from Wirimbili for a special weaving workshop at NEWCO Kandos. Participants will create a bracelet, necklace, or coaster while learning about local Indigenous culture and traditions. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

- Smile! Your attendance at events supported by Mid-Western Regional Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on Council websites, publications, social media, or by newspapers. By attending this session, you agree to these terms. - This event is for young people aged 8–14 years only.
- Participants must have a booking in their own name. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate unregistered attendees.
- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible to allow others the opportunity to participate.
- Ticket holders who fail to attend three sessions without cancelling may become ineligible to attend future events.
- Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may affect attendance at future events hosted by Mid-Western Regional Youth Services.
- Please arrive five minutes early to allow time for check-in and to help the program run on schedule.
- Tickets are not transferable.
