Spring School Holiday Squiggle Challenge

Where will one little squiggle take you? Get creative and turn the squiggle into your own unique artwork!

Squiggle Challenge

One squiggle. Endless possibilities!

Can you turn a simple squiggle into something amazing? Take the challenge and use your imagination to transform the squiggle into your own creative masterpiece.

There are no rules about what your squiggle has to become — it could turn into an animal, a character, a landscape, something completely abstract, or anything else you can dream up!

The Squiggle Challenge is open to anyone of school age, with prizes to be won for entries in age categories from 6–14 years.

How to enter:

1. Create your artwork using the squiggle provided.
2. Add your name, school (if applicable) and age to your entry.
3. Hand your completed entry in to Mudgee Library, or email a clear photo/scan of your artwork to youth.services@midwestern.nsw.gov.au.

Entries close Sunday 11 October 2026.

So grab your pencils, markers, paints or whatever you love creating with and see where the squiggle takes you!
