Sleeping up to six people across three queen-sized bedrooms, the Red Rattler Retreat also features a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area and laundry, for a true home-away-from-home experience.
Outdoor entertaining is a breeze with a huge veranda that encompasses the entire train carriage. You can also enjoy a glass of Mudgee wine at the silo bar and fire pit – the perfect spot for soaking in the night sky.
There’s plenty to do and explore at the Red Rattler – from bushwalks to embracing Windeyer’s gold mining history with gold panning in the creek or enjoying a meal and the drink at the Gold & Fleece Hotel, located just a short walk from the property.
2 nights minimum stay. Price is for the entire carriage, whether you are on your own or a family of 6, linen and towels are also supplied, plus tea, coffee and sugar, and salt & pepper.
There are three bedrooms each containing a queen-size bed. The Red Rattler has all the distinctive qualities of a red rattler from yesteryear, but the creature comforts and style that you would expect in a lovely accommodation offering.
