It’s a move that’s as quirky as it sounds, but one that has paid off in spades. Since taking over the property in 2018, BJ and Gav have transformed what was once the Farmers Daughters Cottages into a haven for travellers seeking a bespoke Mudgee experience.

The journey hasn’t been without its challenges. From the bushfires of 2019 to the pandemic’s disruptions, the owners have faced their fair share of obstacles. But with each setback, they’ve come back stronger, renovating and upgrading the quarters, regenerating the vineyard, and even replacing the bore system to ensure the land thrives.
