Lowe Wines is a certified organic and biodynamic vineyard, winery and farm in Mudgee NSW.
Specialising in small batch winemaking from vines that are un-trellised and un-irrigated, they produce wines that speak distinctly of the terroir and region. Known for their gutsy quartz loving Mudgee reds, their flagship variety is Zinfandel.
The Lowe cellar door lies within the working winery on the 'Tinja' property, and enjoys spectacular views across the vineyards and Mudgee landscape. 10am – Logan Wines

Start your relaxing road trip journey at Logan Wines where the wines are perfectly matched with stunning views. The award-winning all-glass Tasting Room is elegantly perched on the top of a hill overlooking the vines. The Tasting Room’s clean architectural design perfectly frames the stunning views from every angle, making this the perfect spot to taste wine from Logan’s five ranges. Relax on the outdoor terrace while enjoying wine by the glass or bottle and taking in the uninterrupted views over the vineyard and Apple Tree Flat.

11am – Skimstone Wines

Enjoy the Skimstone Wines Italian and French grape varieties crafted into fresh, classic and elegant wines by a French winemaker. Enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the breathtaking rolling hills, take a stroll through the vineyard, and enjoy a local charcuterie board under the pergola or bring along a picnic rug.

12pm – First Ridge Wines

Next up is First Ridge Wines where the views over the Mudgee valley are hard to beat! Sitting high above the surrounding farmlands, this cellar door offers spectacular views and is the perfect home to the Italian varietals that love their hillside location.

Tip: if you want to juggle the order of today’s itinerary, First Ridge Wines makes a great spot to finish a day exploring the Mudgee Region while watching the sun set over the mountains 💚

1pm – Robert Stein Winery

Time for lunch on our road trip and what better place to land than Robert Stein Winery. Experience the Stein Farm Produce food truck, showcasing a true farm-to-plate experience available every day. The cellar door overlooks the vineyard and farm and onto panoramic views of the Mudgee district.

Fun Fact: Founder Robert Stein was an avid motorcyclist, and while living in Sydney would ride to work along a then dirt Parramatta Road on his 1928 Douglas. Today the Robert Stein Motorcycle Museum is home to Robert’s collection of motorcycles, rare motorcycle collectables and photographs. This free family-friendly attraction offers a wonderful break from wine tasting.

2pm – Lowe Family Wine Co

Our day of wine and views concludes at Lowe Family Wine Co where you can relax on this certified organic and biodynamic vineyard, winery and farm and enjoy spectacular views across the vineyard and Mudgee landscape. Explore the range of wines in the charming cellar door or on the outdoor terrace, with plenty of cosy spots to enjoy a personal wine tasting experience, nibble on a grazing hamper or take a stroll around the farm and soak in the views.
