Next up is First Ridge Wines where the views over the Mudgee valley are hard to beat! Sitting high above the surrounding farmlands, this cellar door offers spectacular views and is the perfect home to the Italian varietals that love their hillside location.

1pm – Robert Stein Winery

Time for lunch on our road trip and what better place to land than Robert Stein Winery. Experience the Stein Farm Produce food truck, showcasing a true farm-to-plate experience available every day. The cellar door overlooks the vineyard and farm and onto panoramic views of the Mudgee district.

Fun Fact: Founder Robert Stein was an avid motorcyclist, and while living in Sydney would ride to work along a then dirt Parramatta Road on his 1928 Douglas. Today the Robert Stein Motorcycle Museum is home to Robert’s collection of motorcycles, rare motorcycle collectables and photographs. This free family-friendly attraction offers a wonderful break from wine tasting.

Lowe Family Wine Co Mudgee Region NSW

2pm – Lowe Family Wine Co

Our day of wine and views concludes at Lowe Family Wine Co where you can relax on this certified organic and biodynamic vineyard, winery and farm and enjoy spectacular views across the vineyard and Mudgee landscape.
