This solo exhibition by Anne Flynn explores the quiet tension and harmony found within the Australian landscape. Inspired by the contrast between volatile seas and inland waters, and the enduring solidity of cliffs and rock formations, Flynn’s works celebrate the patterns, colour, and shifting light of rural and coastal New South Wales.

Working from her home studio overlooking the Mudgee ranges, Flynn brings together years of experience in graphic design and mixed media practice. Drawing on her Greek heritage, her use of bold, expressive colour is balanced by a refined, layered process. Through the combination of white tissue collage, paint, and gesso, her landscapes achieve a luminous, tranquil quality—inviting viewers into moments of stillness, reflection, and immersion in nature.
