ArtLab: Foundations - Block Printing Art WorkshopArtLab: Foundations is a hands-on holiday workshop series designed to give young creatives the essential skills to take their art further. Each session explores a different media and techniques, building confidence and a strong creative base. The third in this series is on Block Printing. Block or lino printing is an art activity where you carve a picture into a soft piece of linoleum, roll ink onto the parts that are left raised, and then press paper on top to make a print—kind of like making your own stamp!
