Enjoy a fun day out with the girls exploring some of the best parts of the region. Wine, food, art & relaxation galore!

Get the girls together and let's spend a day gallivanting through the Mudgee Region. Here, we present a variety of activities that perfectly sum up a day spent in the region with the gals.

Like every great day, you need to start with a big breakfast and perfectly brewed coffee. Alby & Esthers offers a leafy sanctuary hidden up a brick alleyway, with a delightful menu showcasing local produce. Their house toastie is hard to beat!

While in town, a stroll around the streets of Mudgee CBD is called for. Stop by the array of boutique shops, pick up another takeaway coffee and shop like a local. Just around the corner from breakfast, Good Day Lifestyle Co is a must for all things homewares & fashion. Beautiful colours & service with a smile invites you to browse the wonderful collection of items. It's hard to leave this store empty handed!

It's time to get in the car and head off for the first produce tasting - High Valley Cheese Co. Delicious triple cream brie, a robust rouge washed rind, award-winning marinated fetta, caerphilly, smoked cheddar and two varieties of blue are available to taste and buy. This is a great place to explore the different flavours & preferences of the group - choose a cheese you all love to have together back at your accommodation.

Time to wash down the cheese with the first wine tasting of the day at Lowe Family Wine Co! Beautiful views, delectable wines and open lawns to laze about await you. Settle in for a couple of hours as you share a bottle of wine sprawled out on picnic blankets, or go for a little stroll through the vineyard and immerse yourself in nature. The world is your oyster.

Time for lunch! Gather the crew and get excited for share plates galore at The Barn at Blue Wren Farm. The Barn is THE place for groups, offering the perfect sizings and varieties of share plates so everyone leaves with a happy & content belly. Sit inside where the action happens amongst the rustic design or opt for outside amongst the vineyards to soak in the sun and the clean country air.

It's probably time to have a break from food & wine and tap into our creative sides. Mudgee Arts Precinct showcases a range of artists through their exhibitions. Take a stroll through the beautifully designed gallery and discuss what each piece means to you.

Time for a scrumptious dinner just down the road at Cade Kitchen & Bar. Local produce is at its finest here, especially with the introduction of the 'Bianco Bar,' a laid-back dining experience featuring wood-fire flatbread pizzas. Wash the food down with a local wine from their extensive list as you reminisce on the highlights of the day.

Night is calling and it's time to head back to your accommodation at Glenayr Farm Mudgee. The perfect place to disconnect to reconnect. Hop in the spa, pop a bottle of sparkling and cheers to the wonderful day you just had as you soak under a blanket of stars.

Pro Tip: Remember to book your tasting with each winery for the best wine tasting experience. Please drink responsibly and consider arranging one of our wonderful tour operators when visiting multiple wineries in a day!
